Ramadan Special Keto Mahalabia(Arabic dessert)

Mahalabia is a very famous Arabic sweet/dessert which is specially made for the Iftar during this holy month of Ramadan. And the Keto version can beat the original in taste and looks too.
Enjoy!!!

Preparation time: 5 mins
Cooking time: 10 mins
Chilling time: 2-3 hrs
Serves: 4

Ingredients
Almond milk 200ml
Cream 100g
Almond flour 3 tbsp
Erythritol 3 tbsp
Rose water 1 tsp
Cardamom powder 1/2 tsp

Finale
Pistachios finely sliced 2 tbsp

Method

  • Mix the almond flour with little almond milk and make a liquid paste out of it.
  • Heat a nonstick pan and drop the remaining almond milk in it.
  • Drop the paste.
  • Then add cream to it.
  • Add the sugarfree erythritol
  • Stir it intermittently.
  • As it thickens add the rose water and the cardamom powder.
  • Let it thicken, stir in between.
  • Check by a spoon, if the spoon gets coated, it's done.
  • Shut the stove and let it cool.
  • Transfer it into 4 small bowls.

Finale

  • Now with the pistachio slivers decorate  the Mahalabia dessert as shown in the video.
  • Chill it for 2-3 hrs.
  • Enjoy!!!

Recipe Notes:
I have served it into 2 big bowls. It's best if you make 4 servings.
Use a flat type of bowl, it would be easier  to decorate the Mahalabia.
