Keto Onion Pakoda/Pakora | Fritters | Onion Bhajia (Eggless) Monsoon Special

Come Rains and the sight of Hot yummy Onion pakora crosses our mind. Here comes the Monsoon Special episode of Keto Onion Pakoda. Enjoy!!!


Preparation time: 10 mins
Cooking time: 15 min
Serves: 4(4 pieces each)

Ingredients
Almond flour 1/2 cup
Flaxseed flour 1 tbsp
Turmeric powder 12 tsp
Red chilli powder 12 tsp
Salt 12 tsp
Baking  soda  a pinch
Carom seeds 14 tsp
Onion finely sliced 100g
Green chillies  finely chopped  1 tsp
Ginger finely chopped  1 tsp
Green coriander leaves finely chopped 2 tbsp
Water 1- 2 tbsp
Ghee/clarified butter/oil for frying

Method

  • Put the ghee to heat.
  • Meanwhile, in a mixing bowl add in all the dry ingredients except the veggies and mix all
  • Now add the veggies and mix it smashing and mixing the onions into the flour.
  • Add very little water to form a dough.
  • Keep it covered for 5 mins.
  • Now comes the frying step.
  • Wet your fingers and take a small portion of the dough and drop it into the hot ghee for frying.
  • Drop some ball sand ket it fry, do not touch in between until it starts taking colour.
  • Toss and turn and let it fry from all sides.
  • Take it out on a kitchen paper towel and fry the remaining batter also.
  • Serve hot with green chutney.
  • Enjoy!!!
