Elote: Mexican Street Food In Desi Style

A very interesting and tasty dish is this Mexican street food Elote and we are giving an Indian flavour as the ingredients used are the easily available one. Enjoy!!!


Preparation time:  15 minutes
Cooking time: 20 minutes
Serve: 2

Ingredients
Step 1
Corn on cob 2
Salt 1/2 tsp

 For Mexican dip
Mayonnaise 2 tbsp
Red chilli powder 1 tsp
Lemon juice of 1

Finale
Butter 20g
Cheese 20g


Method
For Mexican dip
Mix the dip ingredients in a bowl and give it a good mix and keep it aside.

Step 1
Let the butter sit in room temperature  while we get the corn cob ready.
Remove the cover of the corn cob
In a pan put water to boil and add the corn cob and salt and boil for 5 mins.
Take it out from the water.
Roast it on the stove on a grill pan
Take it out in a plate.

Finale
Now brush each corn with butter first from all sides.
Now brush the corn cob with the Mexican dip lavishly from all sides.
Grate the cheese on top and serve hot.
Enjoy!!!

Recipe Notes:
In the Mexican style  ancho chillis are used while I have used normal Kashmiri chilli powder.
