Protein-Packed Macaroni Hot Pot | Kid's Favorite

In my house, this is one of the favorite dishes which I have been preparing for so many years. So thought of sharing with you all. This Dish is really easy to prepare and you can never go wrong on it. It can be prepared with leftover Macaroni (from Mac and cheese) and leftover Kidney beans  (Rajma which we prepare for Rajma Chawal) from previous day menu even. It is a good party baked dish. And one can enjoy this without the cheese even. Enjoy!!!


Preparation time: 15 minutes
Cooking time: 10 minutes
Baking time: 20-25 minutes
Serves: 8

Ingredients
In the order
Oil 2tbsp
Garlic minced 1 tsp
Mixed herbs 1 tsp
Red chili flakes 1 tsp
Onion sliced singles 1 medium
Baby corn 100g chopped in chunks
Salt 1 tsp
Capsicum cubes 100g
Tomatoes chopped 200g
Red chili powder 1 tsp
Tomato sauce 1/4cup
Kidney beans boiled 1 cup
Macaroni boiled 1 cup
Water/vegetable broth 1/2cup

For Baking
Cheddar cheese grated 80g

Method
In the order
  • In a pan add oil and add one by one the ingredients till the tomatoes and cover and cook for 5 mins.
  • Then add the rest of the ingredients and let it cook.
  • Take it out in a bowl


For Baking
  • Preheat the oven to 200c
  • Grease a big baking dish with oil
  • Add half of the prepared pasta and sprinkle little cheese over it.
  • Then spread out evenly  the remaining pasta and finally spread out the remaining  cheese over it.
  • Bake at 200c for 20-25 mins.
  • Serve hot
  • Enjoy!!!
