Thai Corn Fritters | Healthy Thai Corn Cakes

These Thai Corn Fritters are perfectly crispy, sweet and salty, and at the same time spicy too. They can be served as a Starter, appetizers, or as a party snack. So make these and Enjoy!!!

Preparation time: 10 mins
Cooking time: 10 mins
Serves: 10 pieces

Ingredients
1 large Corn kernels boiled
Red Thai curry paste 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Soya sauce 1 tsp
Maize flour 3-4 tsp
Kafir leaves 4-5/Lemon zest of 1 lemon
Cornflour 3 tbs
Oil 2 tbsp

Method
  • Pulse the boiled corn kernels coarsely in a chopper or food processor.
  • Now add all the remaining ingredients except the cornflour and the oil.
  • Give it a good mix.
  • Take cornflour on a plate.
  • Now take small portions of the mix and form flattened patties out of it.
  • Dust it with cornflour
  • Similarly make all the patties.
  • Heat a nonstick pan.
  • Brush it with oil.
  • Now put the fritters and let it cook both sides till its golden by applying little oil when required.
  • Shallow fry golden on medium to slow heat.
  • Similarly fry all the fritter
  • Take it out.
  • Serve hot.
  • Enjoy!!!
