This is a very traditional dish and no Indian can say no to this dish. The Food which we have grown eating. So why should we stop eating just because we are following the keto diet? Enjoy!!!

Ingredients
Step 1
Cauli-rice 150g
Sunflower seeds 1/2 cup (used 2/5th only)
Step 2
For Pakoda
Carom seeds1/4 tsp
Red chilli powder 1/2 tsp
Salt 1/2 tsp
Xanthan gum 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
Baking soda 1/4 tsp
Water 3-4 tbsp
For Kadhi
Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
Water 1 &1/2 cup
Step 3
Ghee for frying
For tempering
Ghee 1 tbsp
Cumin seeds 1 tsp
Dried red chillies 1-2 piece
Asafoetida 1/2 tsp
Red chilli powder 1/2 tsp
Method
Step 1
- Steam cauli-rice by microwaving for 3 mins or on a gas stove.
- Powder the sunflower seed finely to flour
Step 2
- Take out 3 tbsp of the pulsed flour in a bowl. Keep it separately.
- Now to the remaining sunflower seeds flour add all the remaining ingredients and mix it thoroughly.
- Add water and form a thick batter.
- Now add water to the separately kept 3 tbsp flour and turmeric powder too and give it a magic mix.
Step 3
- Heat ghee in a kadahi.
- Wet fingers and drop small balls into the ghee and fry the balls.
- Now after frying the balls empty the kadhai and drop the kadhi mixture and stir continuously until it starts boiling.
- Add salt and let it boil for 5-7 mins.
- It's done.
- Now put a small pan on the stove for tempering.
- Add the ghee, when hot add cumin seeds and let it splutter.
- Then add the remaining ingredients. And shut the stove
Finale
- Serve the kadhi in a bowl.
- Drop the pakodas into the kadhi and pour the tempering over it. Serve hot with the steamed rice.
