Sabudana Khichdi in Keto Style | Low carb Porridge

Comes The Fasting/Upwas time and the food style in many household changes. And if you relish those awesome fasting foods, then you must be sailing in the same boat as me. When the whole family is devouring sabudana khichdi, and us happy with the chia seed khichdi. But Bang on, I have nailed this recipe in the keto version. Yes, I am talking about The Sabudana Khichdi, yes, the keto version. And mind you the taste, the flavour is almost the same, I could say even better. Make it to believe me. Enjoy!!!



Preparation Time: 10 mins Cooking Time: 10 mins

Ingredients Ghee/Oil1 tbsp Cumin seeds 1tsp Green chillies 1/2 tsp Curry leaves a few Peanuts 1 tbsp Paneer/cottage cheese 50g Fresh coconut 1/2 cup Coconut milk 1/4 cup Salt 1/2 tsp Roasted peanuts 1/4 cup Optional lemon juice 1 tsp Method

  • Heat a pan. Add ghee or oil to it
  • Add cumin seeds and let it splutters
  • Add the green chillies and curry leaves.
  • Let it get crunchy.
  • Add the raw peanuts.
  • Saute it for few minutes until it becomes crispy.
  • Add in the paneer cubes and saute for 2- 3 minutes.
  • Add the grated coconut meat and saute for 2 minutes.
  • Add the salt.
  • Add the crushed peanuts.
  • Saute for 2 minutes
  • Add the coconut milk and saute for 2 minutes
  • It's done
  • Optionally you can add little lemon juice.
  • Take it out in a serving bowl.
  • Enjoy!!!
