Keto Nadru Yakhni | Low Carb Lotus Stem Curry


Kashmiri is a paradise on earth, a land of exquisite beauty! And so is the Kashmiri cuisine. And one of the famous recipes of this place is Nadru Yakhni, have heard about it a lot. But never tried it. But keto made it happen.
Nadru means Lotus stem & Yakhni means gravy. A very simple to prepare yet delicious & flavourful recipe. Lotus stem is used as an alternative for meat in most vegetarian cuisines.


Preparation time: 20 mins Cooking time: 30 mins Ingredients Lotus stem 150g Big cardamom 1 Cinamon stick 1 Green cardamom 2-3 Star anise 1 Mace 1 (optional) Cloves 4 Bay leaf 1 Salt 1 tsp Fennel seeds/powder 1 tsp Greek yogurt 200g Almond flour 1 tbsp Oil 2 tbsp Cinamon stick 1 Asafoetida 1/4 tsp Red chili powder 1/2 tsp Salt 3/4 tsp
