Keto Veg Kurmura Bhel

Kurmura... Murmura... Muri.. Pori.. Puffed rice. Call it by any name. It's a good snack option, and being on Keto I missed it too much.
So once in the evening tried it to make it in Keto  Style. And believe me, it turned out to be so yum, that you have to make it believe it. In a way better than the Normal bhel available. So make it. Here's the Recipe.

Preparation time: 20 mins
Serves: 1

Ingredients
For Murmura:
Cheese grated 50g
Chilli powder 2 Tsp

For Making the Bhel:
Onion finely chopped 30g
Cucumber finely chopped 30g
Tomato finely chopped 20g
Coriander leaves finely chopped 2 tbsp
Roasted Cumin seed powder 1/2 tsp
Rock Salt 1/4 tsp
Chillipowder1/2 tsp

Method
For Murmura:
  • On a baking tray if nonstick spread half the grated cheese evenly (thin layer as shown in the video)
  • Sprinkle chilli powder  a little bit (it's optional)
  • If not nonstick tray, then use parchment paper and spread cheese evenly.
  • Grill it for 3-4 mins or more, each batch until crisp (it may take 5 - 6 mins also)
  • Let it cool and then crush it with hands coarsely.
  • Make two batches of it.

Making of Bhel:
  • In a big bowl put the crushed cheese Crispies.
  • Then add all the chopped vegetables (keep aside a few chopped coriander leaves).
  • Add chilli powder, salt and cumin powder, and mix it thoroughly.
  • Now garnish with the leftover coriander leaves and serve.

Note:
1) You can make the cheese Crispies beforehand and can store in an airtight container.
2) When making bhel have it instantly, otherwise, it will become soggy. So make the bhel when you want to have it.
