I make a quick Marinara sauce. This requires very little time and taste same as the original. Prepare and store this so when required one can use it.

Ingredients
Tomato 1 kg
Garlic cloves finely chopped 7-8
Salt to taste
Olive oil 2 tbsp
Basil leaves a few.
Method
- In a chopper or food processor just chop the tomatoes.
- Heat a pan, add Olive oil.
- Then add garlic to it, saute it.
- Then add the tomato paste,
- Then add churned tomatoes.
- Add salt to it.
- Then add basil dry or fresh cut and Saute it.
- Let it cook until it thickens and become half about 15 mins.
- Cool and store in the refrigerator.
- Use when needed.
