Keto Bottlegourd lasagna Veg & Eggless

This truly is an amazing dish which really tastes awesome and can be enjoyed by the whole family. Another way of making people eat this not so friendly vegetable in a super desirable way. Enjoy!!! 


Preparation Time: 20 mins
Cooking Time: 15 mins
Baking Time: 15 mins
Serves: 3

Ingredients
Step 1
Paneer 100g
Onion finely chopped 30g
Capsicum finely chopped 40g
Red chilli flakes 1 tsp
Oregano or any herb fresh if dry 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Black pepper powder 1/2 tsp
Oil 2 tbsp

Step 2
Bottlegourd 400g
Oil 1 tbsp

Step 3
Marinara sauce 4 tbsp
Black pepper powder 1/2 tsp
Stevia 1 tsp

Finale
Cheese 40g
Oil 1 tsp

Method
Step 1

  • Heat a nonstick pan.
  • Add oil to it.
  • Add Red chilli flakes, and oregano and saute it.
  • Then add onions and capsicum one by one and saute it.
  • Add Cottage cheese/ to it and saute it.
  • Add salt and black pepper powder over and saute for two minutes.
  • Take it out.

Step 2

  • Remove the skin of the Bottlegourd and make thin longitudinal slices through a Mandolin Slicer.
  • Heat a grill pan and grill all the slices both the sides by applying oil to it and keep it aside.

Step 3

  • To the marinara sauce and add stevia and black pepper powder, and mix it.

 Finale

  • Preheat the oven to 200c.
  • Grease a baking dish and spread 1 tbsp marinara sauce and the put a single layer of bottle-gourd slices.
  • Spread half of the prepared paneer mixture evenly.
  • Again spread a layer of marinara sauce and cover it with the bottle-gourd slices.
  • Again spread a layer of the paneer mixture and cover it up with the remaining marinara sauce.
  • Sprinkle the cheese over it.
  • Then sprinkle the oil over it.
  • Bake it for 15-20 mins until the cheese turns golden. Take it out.
  • Serve hot.
