How to make Hummus

Hummus is a Lebanese Cuisine. Its Creamy Texture is really superb. The best healthy way of having lentils is this Hummus. It can be used as a Spread or Dip with Nachos, Pita bread or Veggie Sticks even.


Preparation time: 5 mins
Blending Time 3 mins
Serves: 4

Ingredients
Chickpea/ Kabuli Chana 1 cup
Sesame seeds 1 tbsp
Garlic cloves 2
Salt according to taste
Lemon juice 1 tbsp
roasted cumin powder 3/4 tsp
Red chilli powder 1/2 tsp
Olive oil 1/2 cup
Water 1 cup

Garnish
Olive oil 2 tsp
Red chilli powder 1/2 tsp
Parsley a sprig

Method
In a blender of the mixer,  add all the ingredients and blend well to a fine creamy paste

Garnish
Take it out in a shallow serving bowl and make a swirl in the hummus with a spoon or finger.
Sprinkle olive oil and red chilli powder one by one into the swirl.
Serve as a Spread with Pita bread or as a dip with Nachos
