Fruit & Nut Barley Porridge

Barley is a very healthy rich food full of nutrients and rich in Dietary fibre too. The combination of banana, honey and nuts makes it complete brain food. Enjoy!!!

Serves: 1

Ingredients
Barley soaked overnight 1/3 cup
Water 2 times the soaked barley
Milk 1 cup
Cinnamon powder 1/2 tsp

To serve
Banana1
Almonds sliver 1 tbsp
Walnuts 4-5pieces
Raisin 10-12 pieces
Cranberries a few pieces
Honey 1 tbsp

Method
In a pan put the soaked barley to boil.
Cover and cook until tender.
Now add milk and cinnamon powder to it.
Let it cook stirring it intermittently until it thickens.
Take it out in a bowl.

To serve
Top the Porridge bowl with banana, and nuts and serve hot or cold according to preferences.
