Beetroot Sesame Cutlets | Healthy Snacks

Beetroot, the color of this vegetable says it all, full of vitamins, minerals, and essential nutrients. And any dish made with this veggie has to be healthy. These cutlets retain the full health benefits and also the taste is too good. Enjoy!!!

Preparation time: 15 minutes
Cooking time: 10 minutes
Serves: 8 pieces

Ingredients
In the order
Step 1
Oil 1 tbsp
Green chilies finely chopped 1 tbsp
Ginger finely chopped 1/2 tbsp
Garlic finely chopped 1 tbsp
Beetroot 250g
Salt 1 tsp
Peanut powder 2 tbsp
Potato boiled  & mashed 200g
Cumin powder 1 tsp
Red chili powder 1 tsp
Garam masala/allspice 1/2 tsp
Mango powder 1 tsp
Oats flour 2 tbsp

Step 2
Cheese 50g
Sesame seeds 3 tbsp

Step 3
Oil 2 tbsp


Method
In the order
Step 1
  • Heat a nonstick pan.
  • Add-in all the ingredients one by one and saute in between.
  • Saute the beetroot mixture until it becomes tender.
  • Take out the mixture in a bowl and let it cool.


Step 2
  • Take a small portion of the mixture, flatten it out.
  • Put a piece of cheese cube in-between.
  • Cover it up and flatten it to give a patties/kebab shape.
  • Rollover the sesame seeds
  • Keep it aside.
  • Similarly in this way roll out all the patties.

Step 3
  • Heat a nonstick pan,
  • Grease it with oil.
  • Place the cutlets over it.
  • Cook it from both sides until crispy.
  • Similarly cook all the cutlets
  • Take it out and serve hot.
  • Enjoy!!!
