Cranberry Amaranth Smoothie | Healthy Protein Meal

Sometimes the perfect way to smoothen out is to begin the day with Smoothies. And my favourite Cranberry Amaranth smoothie is no less in texture and taste. And the best part is, it has the chewy texture which gives a feeling of satiety too. Enjoy!!!

Preparation time:   5 mins
Cooking time: 15 mins
Serve: 3

Ingredients

Step 1

Amaranth seeds 1/3 cup

Water 1.25 cup

 

Step 2

Cranberries 1/3 cup

Pitted dates 7-8 pieces

Milk 2 cups

Cranberries 1 tsp

 

Method

Step 1

In a saucepan put the amaranth seeds and add the water. Let it cook covering it and occasionally stirring in between on low to medium flame.

Let it cool completely.

Step 2

In a blender jar, add the cooked amaranth seeds, cranberries and the pitted dates.

Blend it on high speed until smooth.

Take it out in a glass.

Top it with some cranberries.

Enjoy!!!
