Keto Malpuas 2 Ways (Dessert, Veg & Eggless)

Malpuas is a traditional Indian sweet prepared during Festivals. But here I present the Keto Malpuas (Veg & Eggless). So make and enjoy.


Preparation time: 10 mins
Cooking time: 20 mins
Serves: 8 Pieces of 3-inch Diameter

Ingredients
For the Sugar syrup (Malpuas 1)
Stevia1 cup 
Water 1 cup
Saffron strands 7-8

For the batter 
Almond flour I /2 cup
Coconut flour I/2  cup 
Psyllium husk  1/2 tbsp 
Baking powder 1/2 tsp 
Coconut milk 1/2 cup 
Water 1/2 cup 
Salt a pinch 
Peppercorns coarsely ground 1tsp
Corriander seeds 1tsp
Fennel seeds 1 tsp
Cardamom powder 1/2 tsp

For Garnishing 
Almonds coarsely grounded 2 tsp
Cardamom powder 1/2 tsp

(Malpuas 2)
Stevia 1 cup

Method 

MALPUAS 2
For Sugar syrup

  • Heat a pan.
  • Add stevia and water and put to boil till it becomes half.
  • Add saffron strands to it. 
  • Check the stickiness of the syrup as shown in the video.
  • Keep it aside.
  • For the Batter
  • In a mixing bowl add all the dry ingredients. 
  • Mix it thoroughly. 
  • Add coconut milk and hung curd and make a thick batter with water. 

FInale

  • Heat a nonstick pan and grease with ghee. 
  • Now put small portions of the batter according to your pan size. 
  • Cook it from both the sides on medium flame Take each piece out and dip in the sugar syrup for 10 secs. Do this for all your Malpuas. 
  • Serve it on a plate by garnishing with almonds and Cardamom powder. 

MALPUAS 2

  • Instead of making the sugar syrup add stevia directly to the batter. 
  • Mix it thoroughly. 
  • Now make Malpuas in the same style as written above. 
  • Serve hot, garnished with coarsely grounded almonds and cardamom powder. 

Note:

  • For making Malpuas 2 style, you just need the batter ingredients and stevia. 
  • I have used 1 Batter Quantity for both the type Of Malpuas. so Stevie and water used for Malpuas 1was taken 1/2 and a half Stevia for Malpuas 2
