Keto Sesame/Til ladoo

Makar Sankranti is one of my favorite festivals. And loads of goodies are too tempting and one of them is Sesame/til laddus. Being on keto does not mean you have to stay away from this delicacy. Now Enjoy Guiltfree Sesame ladoos /Til ladoos.


Preparation Time: 10 mins
Cooking Time: 5 mins
Serves: 10 ladoos

Ingredients
Sesame seeds 150g
Chia seed 1 tbsp
Stevia sugar-free 1 cup
Cardamom powder  1 tsp
Ghee/clarified butter/Vegan butter 40g

Method

  • Heat a pan and dry roast the sesame seeds until you hear the crackling sound.
  • Take it out in a bowl and let it cool.
  • Meanwhile, mix Chia seeds in 1 tbsp water and keep it aside.
  • Now keep aside about 30 g of the roasted sesame seeds in a separate bowl.
  • Now In a blender jar add sesame seeds, ghee, sugar-free stevia, cardamom powder, and give a churn.
  • It becomes a thick paste. Take It out in a bowl.
  • Add the Chia mix
  • Now as you mix the Chia seeds, the mixture becomes thick, as the Chia seeds absorb the excess moisture and the paste turns into a medium-hard dough.
  • Apply ghee to your palm and take a small portion of the dough and roll it into a ball.
  • Then roll it over the sesame seeds which were kept separately.
  • Similarly, make all the balls until the dough finishes. 
  • Enjoy!!!
