Veg Shepherd's Pie

Veg Shepherds pie is one dish I can have it on a full stomach. It is full of flavour and I am always hungry for it.
Sharing with you an easy to make a version of it. Usually, when we make kidney beans curry that is your Rajma, I make a little more than the usual quantity. And keep it aside for this special dish. One can use just boiled Kidney beans even. But I prefer the gravy one. It gives a true Indian flavour to this International dish.

Serves:

Ingredients
First layer
In the order of use
Olive oil2 tbsp
Garlic 2 tbsp
Mixed herbs 1 tsp
Red chill 1 tsp
Onion singles 100g
Mixed boiled vegetables  250g
Paneer 150g
Marinara sauce homemade 1/2 cup
Salt  1 tsp
Red chilli powder 1tsp
Kidney beans with gravy

Second layer
Boiled potatoes 400g
Cheese 100g
salt  1/2 tsp
Butter 50g

Finale
Butter 10g

Method

  • Preheat the oven to 200°c

First layer


  • Heat a pan.
  • Add ingredients one by one in the order and saute it.


Second layer

  • Mix all the ingredients very well in a mixing bowl.


Finale

  • Grease a baking dish.
  • Add the vegetable layer
  • Then comes the second layer.
  • Take a small portion of the potato mix and flatten it out and spread it over the vegetable layer.
  • Make a layer and cover the vegetable layer.
  • Now with the melted butter brush it on the potato layer
  • Now bake for 20 minutes
  • Take it out and serve hot.
  • Enjoy!!!
