Serves: 4(4 pieces each)
Ingredients
Almond flour 1/2 cup
Flaxseed flour 1 tbsp
Turmeric powder 12 tsp
Red chilli powder 12 tsp
Salt 12 tsp
Baking soda a pinch
Carom seeds 14 tsp
Onion finely sliced 100g
Green chillies finely chopped 1 tsp
Ginger finely chopped 1 tsp
Green coriander leaves finely chopped 2 tbsp
Water 1- 2 tbsp
Ghee/clarified butter/oil for frying
Almond flour 1/2 cup
Flaxseed flour 1 tbsp
Turmeric powder 12 tsp
Red chilli powder 12 tsp
Salt 12 tsp
Baking soda a pinch
Carom seeds 14 tsp
Onion finely sliced 100g
Green chillies finely chopped 1 tsp
Ginger finely chopped 1 tsp
Green coriander leaves finely chopped 2 tbsp
Water 1- 2 tbsp
Ghee/clarified butter/oil for frying
Method
- Put the ghee to heat.
- Meanwhile, in a mixing bowl add in all the dry ingredients except the veggies and mix all
- Now add the veggies and mix it smashing and mixing the onions into the flour.
- Add very little water to form a dough.
- Keep it covered for 5 mins.
- Now comes the frying step.
- Wet your fingers and take a small portion of the dough and drop it into the hot ghee for frying.
- Drop some ball sand ket it fry, do not touch in between until it starts taking colour.
- Toss and turn and let it fry from all sides.
- Take it out on a kitchen paper towel and fry the remaining batter also.
- Serve hot with green chutney.
- Enjoy!!!
