Dahi Ke Kabab | Yogurt Fried Balls

This Dahi ke kababs/Yogurt fried balls are melt in the mouth Kababs and so delicately flavourful that it would be difficult to stop at 2-3. Enjoy!!!


Preparation time: 10 mins
Cooking time: 15 mins
Serves: 12 piece

Ingredients 
Step 1
Hung curd/greek yogurt 500g 
Cottage cheese/paneer 150g
Cheese grated 40g
Black pepper 1/2 tsp
Cumin powder 1/2 tsp
Cinnamon powder 1/2 tsp 
Nutmeg powder 1/4 tsp
Cardamom powder 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
Green chilies finely chopped 1 tsp
Ginger finely chopped 1 tsp
Roasted gram flour 1 & 1/2 tsp
Oats flour 1 & 1/2 tsp

Step 2
Bread crumbs 100g
Oil for frying

Method 
Step 1

  • In a mixing bowl add in all the ingredients one by one and give it a magical soft mix.
Step 2

  • Heat the oil for frying
  • Drop small portions of the mix in the breadcrumb tray and roll it so that it is covered from all sides with the breadcrumbs.
  • When the oil is medium heated, drop the kababs in the oil, slowly.
  • Let it cook in the submerged oil until it turns golden.
  • Care has to be taken while frying. 
  • Drop the kababs on an interval of 10  seconds, and let it turn golden undisturbed.
  • Fry all the kababs similarly.
  • Serve hot with green chutney or any dip of your choice.
  • Enjoy!!!
